BirdsEyeView inks multi-year deal with Market Lane for catastrophe modelling

The partnership will let Market Lane underwriting teams use BirdsEyeView’s CERA platform for catastrophe risk analysis and exposure management in one workflow.

BirdsEyeView, a technology provider focused on natural catastrophe modelling and exposure management, announced a multi-year partnership with Market Lane Insurance Group, an Australian Lloyd’s Coverholder.

Under the agreement, Market Lane and its related brands will use BirdsEyeView’s CERA platform to support catastrophe risk analysis and exposure management activities.

The platform combines high-resolution natural catastrophe models with exposure management functionality, aiming to help underwriting teams assess portfolios and make risk-based decisions more efficiently.

Market Lane Managing Director Toby Salmon said the single-platform approach improves the team’s efficiency, and BirdsEyeView noted the deal reflects growing demand for integrated catastrophe modelling and exposure management tools in the insurance sector.
