Bitcoinist.App launches a non-custodial iOS mining platform with private pools
The app is available on the Apple App Store, lets users start mining from an iPhone without buying hardware or entering payment details, and pays out directly to a self-custody wallet.
Bitcoin Magazine reports that BFM Company Limited has introduced Bitcoinist.App, a non-custodial Bitcoin mining app and learn-to-mine platform released exclusively for iOS.
The platform is designed to let users create private Bitcoin mining pools by combining hashpower, invite friends and family, and compete with the broader Bitcoin network’s hashrate, while mined bitcoin is sent to an external wallet the user controls.
Bitcoinist.App is set up using Sign in with Apple during onboarding, and it does not require users to buy mining hardware or provide payment information to begin.
The company said the app provides mining infrastructure and education rather than a yield product, does not hold user private keys or mined funds, and notes that outcomes depend on factors including network difficulty, pool performance, transaction fees, and deployed hashpower.
