Bitcoinist.App launches on iOS with non-custodial private mining pools
The app is non-custodial, sends mined bitcoin to an external self-custody wallet chosen by the user, and does not require buying mining hardware or entering payment information.
Bitcoin Magazine reports that BFM Company Limited has launched Bitcoinist.App, a non-custodial Bitcoin mining app and learn-to-mine platform exclusively for iOS, now available on the Apple App Store.
The platform lets users create private Bitcoin mining pools and direct real, remotely hosted hashpower through three modes, using Sign in with Apple for onboarding. BFM said users can start on an iPhone without buying mining hardware or entering payment information.
Bitcoinist.App is designed to avoid custody, with no internal wallet or platform balance. Users select an external self-custody wallet for payouts, and the app sends mined bitcoin to that address rather than holding funds.
BFM positions the product as mining infrastructure and education rather than a yield or custodial offering, noting that mining outcomes depend on network difficulty, pool performance, transaction fees, and deployed hashpower.
