Terra delivers first phase of $1B Upland Park in Miami area

Phase One of the 47-acre project includes 578 multifamily residences, with leasing under way and move-ins in progress, and a second phase set to add 484 units later this year.

Terra has completed Phase One of Upland Park, a $1 billion transit oriented mixed-use project in West Miami-Dade County, converting the Dolphin Park and Ride Transit Terminal Facility into a 47-acre community with residential, retail, and commercial components.

ConnectCRE reports that the newly delivered first phase includes 578 multifamily residences, with leasing now underway and tenant move-ins in progress at the project site, 1455 NW 121st Avenue.

Upland Park was conceived as a public-private partnership between Terra and the County, with PPK Architects designing the project in collaboration with Arquitectonica, according to ConnectCRE.

The outlet also notes that construction of the second phase, which is expected to add another 484 multifamily apartments, is slated to begin later this year, and that monthly rental rates start in the $2,000s.
