Adam Riese to acquire Neodigital’s property and casualty portfolio

The deal will nearly double Adam Riese’s customer base to nearly 1 million policyholders, with technology used to manage both the existing and acquired portfolios.

Adam Riese, the digital insurance brand of Württembergische Versicherung, will acquire Neodigital Versicherung’s entire property, liability, and accident insurance portfolio, expanding the insurer’s presence in Germany’s digital market. The transaction is expected to nearly double Adam Riese’s customer base from about 500,000 policyholders to almost 1 million. Württembergische will act as the risk carrier for the acquired business, while Adam Riese will use Neodigital’s technology under a separate service agreement to manage both the existing policies and the newly acquired portfolio.

The cooperation takes effect retroactively to January 1, 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the acquisition remains subject to governmental and regulatory approvals.

Alongside the deal, HUK-COBURG and Neodigital are launching NDA Tech GmbH to support Neodigital Autoversicherung’s IT needs, according to Coverager.
