The promotions span underwriting, reinsurance, retro, corporate accounting, tax, and HR operations as part of Aeolus Capital Management’s internal leadership updates.

Aeolus Capital Management Ltd., an insurance-linked securities and reinsurance investment manager, announced a series of promotions across its underwriting, reinsurance, retro, finance, legal, and operational teams, covering both leadership and specialist functions.

In underwriting, William Thuell was promoted to Vice President, Underwriting. Aeolus said Thuell joined in 2024 as Assistant Vice President, Underwriting after prior experience including more than a year as a Bermuda-based underwriter for SIG Re and over four and a half years at ILS fund manager Elementum Advisors.

Within finance and tax, Adam Lynch was named Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, and Tamika Williams was promoted to Vice President, Controller for Corporate, Retro and Financial Planning & Analysis. Milique Fubler steps into the role of VP, Controller for Reinsurance, while Zahid Ahmed was appointed Vice President, Head of Tax and Financial Planning & Analysis.

Aeolus also promoted Kristin Alexander to Senior Vice President, Head of Human Resources & Operations and named Melissa Lindo as Paralegal. The firm added that Sam Brangman was promoted to IT Analyst after completing a nine-month graduate internship, and it attributed the moves to recognizing employees’ contributions to the firm’s ongoing success.
