Paul J. Stock appointed president of W.R. Berkley’s Carolina Casualty
Stock’s role begins immediately, following his early 2025 divisional president work at Carolina Casualty leading claims and risk management transformation.
W.R. Berkley Corporation has named Paul J. Stock president of Carolina Casualty, effective immediately, according to Reinsurance News.
Stock brings more than two decades of property and casualty insurance experience, with a focus on the transportation sector and related functions including claims, underwriting, product management, risk management, telematics, and commercial vehicle technology.
He joined Carolina Casualty, a Berkley company, in early 2025 as divisional president, where he led a transformation of the claims and risk management departments and other functional areas.
Carolina Casualty, which operates nationwide, specializes in primary commercial insurance products and services for the transportation industry, offering tailored coverage options available on an admitted basis in the District of Columbia and all 50 states.
