Ukraine drone firm Fire Point targets bigger impact after Farnborough
Fire Point, led by Iryna Terekh, drew attention at France’s Eurosatory by screening footage of an oil refinery near Moscow after a drone strike.
Fire Point, a Ukraine-based company behind long-range strike capabilities, said it is aiming for an even bigger effect with its next public appearance after skipping exhibitions in Britain, according to reporting from SCMP Economy.
Agence France-Presse interviewed Fire Point chief Iryna Terekh in London outside Farnborough International Airshow activities, where the company chose not to exhibit despite drawing attention a month earlier at France’s Eurosatory defence show.
At Eurosatory, Fire Point repeatedly screened footage of an oil refinery near Moscow engulfed in flames after being hit by one of its drones.
Terekh said the company’s next step needs to be better, signaling that its next public display is intended to make a major impact.
