Indo SMC, an electrical infrastructure equipment maker, reported Q1 FY27 revenue of ₹88.12 crore, up 136% year over year.

Ashish Kacholia increased his stake in recently listed Indo SMC during the June quarter, raising his holding to 3.03% from 2.46% and adding 1.3 lakh shares, according to LiveMint Markets. The buy came even as the stock has surged, rallying 206% over the past six months and about 190% since the start of 2026.

Indo SMC is described as an electrical infrastructure equipment manufacturer. The company reported Q1 FY27 revenue of ₹88.12 crore, up 136% year over year, and said it is positioned to benefit from rising investment in areas including power distribution infrastructure and industrial electrification.

LiveMint Markets also notes that Kacholia used the quarter to adjust other parts of his portfolio. He added Asian Energy as a new holding with 5.74 lakh shares, representing 1.2% ownership, while trimming stakes in multiple companies including Fineotex Chemicals, Beta Drugs, and Vasa Denticity, and reducing some holdings to below the 1% disclosure threshold.
