Adam Bass named Hiscox Head of Marine & Aviation Treaty
Bass takes over the Marine and Aviation Treaty leadership role from Guy Ellis, who is set to retire later this year after nearly three decades at Hiscox.
Hiscox has appointed Adam Bass as Head of Marine and Aviation Treaty, succeeding Guy Ellis, who will retire later this year, according to Reinsurance News.
Bass joined Hiscox in 2006 as a Fine Art & Specie Underwriter and later moved into the Marine and Aviation Treaty division, where he has worked for 26 years.
The appointment will shift leadership in Hiscox’s Marine and Aviation Treaty unit, as Ellis steps down after a 28-year tenure that the outlet describes as influential across the specialty reinsurance market.
