BKeeperAI launches AI text assistant to help real estate track expenses
The company says solopreneurs may miss $4,000 to $10,000 a year in tax deductions when expense tracking is inconsistent.
BKeeperAI has launched an AI-powered expense assistant built for real estate professionals and small business owners, letting users manage business expenses through text messages, HousingWire reports. The system, called Bee, can categorize transactions and follow up for receipts when needed.
According to the company, users can connect a bank account through Plaid or text photos of receipts directly to Bee. Transactions are then reviewed by a member of the BKeeper team before being finalized, with the company saying the verification is designed to produce records accurate enough for CPAs and bookkeepers while reducing manual expense reconciliation.
BKeeperAI said it expects its approach to address gaps in how deductions are documented, adding that the missed deductions can total an estimated $4,000 to $10,000 annually for “solopreneurs,” and that 40% of small business owners avoid claiming deductions they are legally entitled to because they lack confidence in their records.
The platform is available now at BKeeperAI.com. BKeeperAI co-founder and CMO Christine Carlo George said the goal is to meet users where they already are, on their phones, with a real person performing the verification that matters at tax time.
