MBA and FirstHome IQ launch MBA Homebase for mortgage loan officers

The new platform, announced at the MBA’s 2026 Annual Conference and Expo, will provide NMLS-approved continuing education, coaching, and Trust Certification and is open across lenders and origination channels.

The Mortgage Bankers Association and FirstHome IQ launched MBA Homebase, a professional development platform aimed at mortgage loan officers, as HousingWire reported. The initiative is designed to help loan officers build their businesses, strengthen borrower relationships, and engage in industry advocacy.

MBA Homebase includes NMLS-approved continuing education, coaching, Trust Certification, professional networking, and access to market insights and advocacy participation, according to HousingWire. The platform is open to loan officers across all lenders and origination channels, regardless of whether their employers are MBA members.

The launch was announced at the MBA’s 2026 Annual Conference and Expo. HousingWire also said the initiative is led by Owen Lee, CEO of Success Mortgage Partners and the MBA’s 2027 chairman, and it is intended to address a gap in the association’s support for loan officers’ professional development.
