Coalition adds automated login defense to its cyber risk platform

The company said business email compromise claims rose 15% in 2025, making BEC its top driver of cyber insurance claims.

Coalition, an active insurer focused on preventing digital risks, has launched Login Security, a new feature inside its cyber risk management platform, Coalition Control.

The update is designed to help small and midsize businesses prevent business email compromise by continuously monitoring for suspicious login behavior and auto containing confirmed threats, Coalition said. It also automatically kicks out attackers in milliseconds and includes enterprise grade Identity Threat Detection & Response at no additional cost to global Coalition policyholders.

Coalition said BEC became the number one driver of cyber insurance claims after rising 15% in 2025. It argued that more manual defenses can leave businesses exposed long enough for attackers to redirect funds or manipulate data, turning minor security events into avoidable losses.

Login Security is available globally to Coalition policyholders at no extra cost, is integrated into Coalition Control, and requires only a one time setup with zero ongoing management, according to the insurer. The feature connects directly with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, eliminating the need for additional software installation or configuration.
