CyrusOne pursues $500 million data center near San Antonio
The 460,000-square-foot project is slated for completion in June 2027, and CyrusOne bought about 57 acres near Highway 90 in January.
CyrusOne is pursuing the development of a 460,000-square-foot data center in Medina County, just west of San Antonio, with the project estimated to cost $500 million, according to ConnectCRE.
The facility will be located at 3397 U.S. Highway 90 W., and the development, identified as “SAT14A,” is targeted for completion in June 2027.
ConnectCRE reports that CyrusOne purchased roughly 57 acres off Highway 90 about seven miles from downtown Castroville in January.
ConnectCRE also notes that CyrusOne operates data center campuses in San Antonio, Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Houston, and that available land and access to power have made the region increasingly attractive to data center developers.
