Elitecon International shares jump after leadership revival appointments

The stock was up about 4% on Monday, even as it has fallen sharply over the past week, month, and year to date.

Elitecon International shares rose about 4% on NSE in Monday trading after the company said it is pursuing a leadership revival move announced on 27 July, with stock opening at ₹15.60 versus a Friday close of ₹15.55. The shares also touched an intraday high of ₹16.17.

According to a company exchange filing, the Board appointed Shri Vipin Sharma and Shri Pradeep Kumar as Executive Additional Directors, effective July 22, 2026, and subject to shareholder approval. The appointments were approved at the Board meeting held on July 22, 2026 and communicated to the exchanges the same day.

LiveMint Markets said Vipin Sharma described his return as a decision to delay stepping away from active corporate life, adding that he would lead the company’s revival with a focus on strengthening the board and management with experienced key managerial personnel and independent directors. The filing also said Pradeep Kumar joined the Board from within the Elitecon International group, serving as a director of Golden Cryo Private Limited, a subsidiary.

Despite Monday’s gain, the report noted the stock trend has remained negative amid weak market sentiment, with the shares down 11% over the past week and 42% over the past month. It added that the stock has dropped 77% in six months and 84% year to date.
