Brazil’s Moinho Globo expands milling capacity to 1,000 tonnes a day
The company, which runs three milling lines in Sertanópolis, says annual sales exceed BRL 660 million, and it serves 11 states with nearly 100 products under the Globo and Famiglia Venturelli brands.
Moinho Globo, a Brazilian flour mill based in Sertanópolis, has grown from a family bakery that struggled to source quality wheat flour into a major player in Paraná state's milling hub, according to World Grain.
The company operates three milling lines at its plant with a combined daily capacity of 1,000 tonnes, wheat equivalent, and supplies 11 states with a portfolio of nearly 100 products under the Globo and Famiglia Venturelli brands.
World Grain reports that annual sales are above BRL 660 million, or about $127 million, with growth spanning four generations of Venturelli leadership since the mill began operations in 1954.
Company president Paloma Venturelli attributed the business’s durability to adapting across generations, emphasizing continued investment in technology, automation, artificial intelligence, and process improvements.
