Paragon buys Foothill Boulevard grocery-anchored center in Tujunga
The 46,055-square-foot, nearly 2.7-acre center is anchored by Smart & Final, which has been a tenant for more than 30 years, and by Goodwill, which has occupied the property for 25 years.
Paragon Commercial Group has completed an off-market acquisition of a grocery-anchored shopping center in the Tujunga neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to ConnectCRE. The property is located on Foothill Boulevard near the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains.
The center totals 46,055 square feet and sits on nearly 2.7 acres, and Paragon purchased it from the family of the original developer, which owned and operated the asset for more than six decades. ConnectCRE said the transaction was brokered by illi Commercial Real Estate’s Greg Offsay and Caleb Morrison.
The shopping center is anchored by Smart & Final, a tenant for more than 30 years, and Goodwill, which has occupied the property for 25 years. Paragon said the deal is its second off-market transaction in as many months.
Paragon plans to upgrade multiple aspects of the property, including the common area, building facades, lighting, and signage, with the stated goal of bringing physical improvements to better reflect the surrounding community.
