Curant.ai raises $3.1 million to expand AI claims platform

The Utah-based company said its platform focuses first on disability claims, using claim-file data to automate workflows while keeping final decisions with insurance professionals.

Curant.ai has raised $3.1 million in seed funding to expand an AI platform designed for insurance operations, including disability claims workflows, Coverager reported.

The round was led by Diagram and included participation from Humania Insurance, Element Ventures, Blue Plains Capital, and several angel investors, according to the report.

Founded in 2026 and headquartered in Saint George, Utah, the company says its platform extracts and analyzes information from claim files, automates workflows, and provides decision support, while leaving final claim decisions to insurance professionals.

Coverager also noted that Curant integrates with insurers’ existing systems and configures insights and workflows around each carrier’s processes, with Humania Insurance described as both an investor and a commercial partner using the platform across its disability and life operations.
