Manger Insurance cuts monthly commission reconciliation by automating payments
Applied Systems says the North Dakota agency expects to remove 2 to 3 days of monthly manual reconciliation by using drag and drop statement matching and direct bill commission downloads.
Applied Systems announced that Manger Insurance, a North Dakota agency with a heavy oil and gas book, selected Applied Recon to automate monthly commission reconciliation, eliminating the 2 to 3 days of manual work the agency previously spent each month.
The solution is embedded in Applied Epic and uses drag and drop statement matching, automatic policy number matching, and direct bill commission downloads to match commission statements against policy records without manual data entry.
Manger Insurance said the change reduces human error and speeds up the close out of commissions each month, replacing time spent digging through statements with time spent on revenue generating activity and client service.
Applied Systems also said Applied Recon removed one of the most automatable agency workflows, giving staff time back to reinvest in growth instead of chasing down payments, according to comments from the company’s president of Applied Pay.
