Trucordia acquires Dominion Insurance Services assets
The acquisition adds Trucordia’s professional liability capabilities and expands its presence in Idaho, while financial terms were not disclosed.
Trucordia has acquired the assets of Dominion Insurance Services, a California-based boutique brokerage specializing in lawyers professional liability and other professional liability lines, according to Coverager.
Dominion, founded in 1997 by Larry Hilton and later joined by Wes Hilton, serves law firms and other professional clients and offers coverage including lawyers professional liability, fiduciary liability, patent agent liability, and insurance for accountants, architects, and engineers.
Coverager reports the deal is intended to expand Trucordia’s professional liability capabilities and provide Dominion with broader resources and operational support, with the transaction also adding Trucordia’s presence in Idaho.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Trucordia CEO Felix Morgan said Dominion is known for its specialty experience and client commitment, describing the companies as a strong match in client-centered culture.
