AXIS Capital names Rahil Jogani head of technology and AI strategy
Jogani is based in AXIS Capital’s New York office and will report to Group Chief Operations Officer Ann Haugh.
AXIS Capital Holdings Limited has appointed Rahil Jogani to a newly created role as Head of Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy, based in the company’s New York office, according to Reinsurance News.
In the position, Jogani reports to Ann Haugh, AXIS Capital’s Group Chief Operations Officer, and will help shape the firm’s enterprise technology and AI agenda.
His remit includes advancing AI adoption across the business and identifying measurable business outcomes across areas such as underwriting insight, claims analysis, portfolio management, and risk selection, the outlet said.
Reinsurance News also noted that AXIS Capital reported higher results in recent quarters, with second-quarter net income increasing by $35 million to $251 million, and first-half 2026 net income rising by $96 million to $498 million.
