Breezy rolls out Underbuilt Radar reports for homeowners
Breezy says the instant reports pull live zoning data to estimate buildable area, setbacks, height limits, slopes, and a development potential score, aiming to cut the time and expense of checking whether additions meet local rules.
HousingWire reports Breezy has expanded its Underbuilt Radar platform to consumers, giving homeowners instant property development reports based on zoning data.
The reports estimate build potential for additions including ADUs, second-story projects, basements, and garage expansions. Breezy said the analysis includes buildable area, setbacks, height limits, and slopes, and produces an overall development potential score.
Breezy said the service is designed to reduce the time and expense homeowners often incur when determining whether proposed changes comply with municipal requirements. The company cited a typical spend of $5,000 to $30,000 on architectural plans before a project is found not to meet local requirements.
Underbuilt Radar is now available in 49 states and more than 23,000 zip codes, with additional markets added regularly. Breezy will continue offering the technology to real estate professionals through its app while making standalone reports available directly to homeowners.
