FirstTeam and Purlin roll out an AI operating system for brokerage work

The platform combines contract, negotiation, offer, and client communication tools into one place, with agents able to interact via voice, text, email, or chatbot.

HousingWire reports that California brokerage FirstTeam Real Estate has partnered with Purlin to deploy an AI-powered operating system aimed at streamlining parts of the real estate transaction, including contracts, negotiations, and client communications. FirstTeam, which the article says handled $6.12 billion in 2025 volume across 5,978 transactions, is using Purlin’s tools including PurlinOS, Purlin Close, and Purlin Offer and Negotiate, which are brought together into a single platform for contract to close workflows. According to HousingWire, the system lets agents communicate through multiple channels, including voice, text, email, and a chatbot. Leaders Lauren Henss, FirstTeam’s vice president of marketing and strategic initiatives, and Tim Quirk, Purlin’s chief revenue officer, discussed how they differentiate practical AI adoption from piecemeal software use. The outlet also highlights that the brokerage emphasis is on AI supporting, not replacing, agent expertise, particularly for negotiations and local market knowledge. HousingWire adds that the integration is designed to help automate and streamline tasks such as compliance coordination from contract to close, and marketing and lead nurturing tied to agents’ sphere of influence.
