Mt. Logan Capital Management AUM hits $3.4 billion on Annapurna sidecar
Everest said it expects to cede about $200 million of premiums to the Annapurna Re sidecar, adding underwriting and fee income while lowering investment income.
Mt. Logan Capital Management, Ltd., the Everest Group owned third party capital management platform, has grown its assets under management to $3.4 billion, up from $2.6 billion as of April 2026, according to Artemis.
Artemis reports the increase was driven largely by Everest launching Annapurna Re Ltd., a specialty casualty reinsurance sidecar. Artemis said $600 million of third party capital is being deployed through the Annapurna Re structure, with Stone Point Insurance Solutions named as the anchor investor.
The Mt. Logan team services assets deployed via Annapurna Re as well as assets in its more typical collateralized reinsurance and ILS strategies, and Artemis said Everest has also attracted additional third party capital beyond the April AUM update.
In Everest’s quarterly reporting, Artemis said the company expects to cede around $200 million of premiums to the Annapurna Re sidecar on a quarterly basis, generating additional underwriting and fee income over time, offset by lower investment income. Artemis also reported Everest described the sidecar as an alternative tool for capital management to enable opportunistic scale and improve hedging.
