SEADRIF names Xinmei Zheng as chief operating officer
The Singapore-based insurer said Zheng brings nearly two decades of non-life reinsurance experience, including regional leadership at Munich Re and Swiss Re.
SEADRIF Insurance Company, a Singapore-based insurer, has appointed Xinmei Zheng as its chief operating officer, according to Reinsurance News.
The outlet said Zheng has nearly two decades of experience across non-life insurance and reinsurance, with work spanning underwriting, portfolio management, structured risk solutions, and business development. Her background includes regional leadership roles at Munich Re and Swiss Re, where she worked on client markets and non-life reinsurance business across parts of Asia including SouthEast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, and Vietnam responsibilities.
In her comments on the appointment, Zheng said she is excited to join SEADRIF and build on the team’s foundation in disaster risk financing across Southeast Asia. She also cited the company’s position at the intersection of insurance market expertise and public purpose, adding she looks forward to expanding SEADRIF’s impact with its team and partners across the region.
