WICo opens 149,655-square-foot Target at Plaza de Perris

The new store takes over the former Regency Theatres building, after WICo demolished it following the theater’s 2024 closure.

Wood Investment Companies, Inc., WICo, announced the opening of a new Target at Plaza de Perris in Perris, California.

The retailer spans 149,655 square feet at 1688 N. Perris Blvd., with the project repurposing the former Regency Theatres space after the theater closed in 2024.

ConnectCRE reports that WICo demolished the old theater building to make way for Target’s new location.

Plaza de Perris totals nearly 300,000 square feet and is anchored by Burlington, Food 4 Less, Ross, Planet Fitness, and Five Below, with WICo president Patrick Wood calling the redevelopment a transformational moment for the community and the greater Inland Empire.
