WTW reports Q2 2026 revenue growth as net income declines

Revenue rose to $2.5 billion in Q2 2026, but net income fell 30% year over year as operating income slipped.

WTW, a global insurance and reinsurance broker, reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $2.466 billion, up 9% overall and 5% on an organic basis. The firm said income from operations declined by 1% to $364 million, and its group-wide operating margin narrowed to 14.8% in Q2 2026 from 16.3% in Q2 2025.

Adjusted operating income increased 15% to $480 million, and the adjusted operating margin rose to 19.5%, compared with 18.5% a year earlier. Net income across the business fell to $231 million, down 30% from $332 million in the prior-year quarter, although adjusted net income increased 11% to $316 million.

By segment, WTW’s Risk & Broking unit generated total revenue of $1.164 billion, up 11% overall and 7% organically, with operating income up 16% to $258 million. The company attributed corporate Risk & Broking organic growth to new business activity and strong client retention globally.

WTW said Health, Wealth & Career revenue rose to $1.27 billion, up 8% overall and 4% organically, as operating income increased 9% to $306 million. The broker added that Insurance Consulting and Technology delivered organic revenue growth primarily from strong software sales, and WTW’s CEO highlighted progress embedding AI and automation through its Propel plan announced alongside the results.
