Exxon Mobil Q2 profit more than doubles to $14.5 billion on higher prices
The company posted Q2 revenue of $116.0 billion and said it achieved record output in the Permian Basin and record second-quarter diesel production.
Exxon Mobil reported a 105% year-on-year jump in second-quarter net profit to $14.53 billion, with revenue rising 42% to $116.02 billion, as higher crude oil prices boosted earnings, according to LiveMint Markets.
The outlet said benchmark US oil prices climbed from about $68 per barrel to around $115 during the quarter, with Exxon citing disruption from the US-Iran conflict and supportive markets for major producers.
Operational highlights included what the company described as its highest upstream production in more than two decades, excluding disruptions in the Middle East, plus record production in the Permian Basin and record second-quarter diesel output.
Exxon also declared a dividend of $1.03 per share payable on 10 September 2026, and said it had invested $13 billion in capital expenditure so far in 2026, primarily to expand advantaged assets and high-value product offerings.
