New York sues Kalshi over alleged illegal gambling operation

CNBC reports that New York has filed a lawsuit against Kalshi, arguing the company’s prediction market operates as an illegal gambling operation.

The dispute follows a federal judge’s decision earlier this month to deny Kalshi’s attempt to intervene against the New York Gaming Commission.
