Ryan Specialty posts 7.2% Q2 2026 revenue growth
The specialty insurance distribution firm reported net income of $108.4 million for the quarter, down 13.1% year over year, and returned about $284.5 million to shareholders via buybacks and dividends.
Ryan Specialty reported second-quarter 2026 total revenue of $916.6 million, up 7.2% from $855.2 million in the prior year period. The company said growth was driven primarily by organic revenue, which rose 6.7% versus 7.1% a year earlier.
Net commissions and fees increased 7.4% to $902.7 million from $840.9 million. Ryan Specialty reported net income of $108.4 million, down 13.1% from $124.7 million, while diluted earnings per share fell to $0.33 from $0.38 a year earlier.
On profitability metrics, adjusted EBITDAC rose 6.0% year over year to $326.9 million, though the adjusted EBITDAC margin edged down to 35.7% from 36.1%. Adjusted net income increased 7.6% to $198.7 million, and adjusted diluted EPS rose 12.1% to $0.74.
Ryan Specialty also said it returned about $284.5 million to shareholders during the quarter, including $260 million repurchased in Class A common shares and $24.5 million in dividends and distributions. In the same period, the firm said it expanded its repurchase authorization by an additional $300 million.
