White House ICE video uses Bad Bunny song, then loses the music

The video, criticized online for pairing ICE arrests with the artist, is now only viewable on TikTok without the song “La MuDANZA.”

The White House used a song by Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny as background music for a video about operations by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which includes footage of migrant arrests, according to SCMP Economy. The clip faced criticism on social media for the pairing, the outlet reported.

SCMP Economy said the video can now only be viewed on TikTok without the music from Bad Bunny’s “La MuDANZA,” from the album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, implying the audio was removed.

The outlet also noted that Bad Bunny is a well known critic of President Donald Trump’s immigration policies and deportation agenda, and that his Spanish language Super Bowl halftime performance later drew sharp criticism from Trump.
