Trump Media transfers 2,628 BTC to Crypto.com, holdings drop to 4,261
Transfers worth about $165 million add to reported BTC sales of 7,281 BTC over seven months.
Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent of Truth Social, transferred another 2,628 Bitcoin to Crypto.com, according to blockchain tracking data cited by Cointelegraph.
Citing Lookonchain data based on Arkham, Cointelegraph reports the move extends Trump Media’s reported Bitcoin sales over roughly seven months to 7,281 BTC. The latest transfers leave remaining reported holdings of 4,261 BTC, worth about $269.8 million at the time of publication.
Cointelegraph said the 2,628 BTC transfer was routed via two recent transactions from Trump Media-linked wallets to Crypto.com, including one of 2,429 BTC and another of 198.9 BTC. The outlet also cited earlier Crypto.com movements on May 22, when combined transfers of 2,650 BTC worth about $205 million were recorded.
Cointelegraph added that the sales are unfolding as lawmakers debate the Digital Asset Market Clarity, or CLARITY, Act, amid questions about ethics, digital asset ownership, and potential conflicts involving public officials.
