Trump Media plans Truth API to deliver Truth Social posts to institutions
Truth API would provide a feed from high-ranking Truth Social accounts around the clock with an archive back to 2022, delivered to subscribers in milliseconds.
CryptoSlate reports that Trump Media & Technology Group plans to sell faster access to Truth Social content via Truth API, a licensed data feed aimed at institutional customers.
The product is expected to make available posts from high-ranking Truth Social accounts around the clock, transmit using standard financial data systems in milliseconds, and include an archive reaching back to 2022, according to the report.
The article says Reuters reported Trump Media discussed charging firms up to $100,000 per month, or $60,000 per month for customers willing to commit for three years, with the top reported price equating to about $1.2 million per year.
It also notes that a prior sequence tied to Trump’s social-media activity helped move major markets, including an S&P 500 jump of 9.5%, Bitcoin gaining more than 5%, and short-position holders in crypto losing $374 million as policy expectations changed.
