Zurich Australia appoints claims leader for retail life insurance
The new senior head of retail life claims, Fifita Ngaue, takes the role August 10, joining from MetLife to lead a transformation of Zurich’s growing claims team.
Zurich Australia has appointed Fifita Ngaue as senior head of retail life claims for Australia, with the change effective August 10.
Ngaue joins from MetLife, where she serves as head of claims and oversees performance, customer experience and innovation, after earlier roles at Macquarie, CommInsure and Zurich, according to Coverager.
In her new position, she will lead efforts to transform Zurich’s growing life insurance claims team, including improving the claims experience and expanding digital capabilities.
Zurich Australia’s life insurance business covers more than 1.5 million customers across the Zurich and OnePath Life brands. Coverager also notes the company’s broader insurance activities, including a partnership expansion involving pet insurance, as well as capacity for CRU’s crop insurance products covering broadacre and cotton risks like hail and fire.
