25 states sue Trump administration over global tariffs replacement
The states argue the new tariff regime unlawfully reimposes duties that courts have already struck down.
Twenty five US states have filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration over its latest global tariffs, according to CNBC.
The states say the new tariffs unlawfully replace duties that were previously invalidated by the courts, making the current tariff actions improper.
CNBC frames the dispute as a legal challenge to how the administration is implementing tariff costs across the economy.
