Most Indians unhappy with Modi government over medical exam scandal
A CVoter nationwide survey found just over half of Indian adults were not happy with the government’s handling of medical exam leaks that led to invalidated tests for millions.
Most Indians are unhappy with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government over how it handled medical exam scandals that triggered student protests across the country, according to a nationwide survey cited by SCMP Economy.
The polling firm CVoter said just over half of Indian adults surveyed last week reported they were “not happy” with the government’s handling of recent leaks, which resulted in the invalidation of tests for millions of exam takers, SCMP Economy reported.
After the protests, the article says leaders associated with CJP have said they plan to build a nationwide movement focused on youth issues in the wake of the unrest.
