PulteGroup creates Florida Panhandle division led by Taylor Larza
The expansion is tied to a St. Joe deal covering up to 2,653 homesites, with a first phase due to start in 2027.
PulteGroup said it has created a new division for Florida’s Panhandle as it looks to expand into Northwest Florida amid ongoing demand for new homes in the state, according to HousingWire. The builder named Taylor Larza vice president and market manager for the new Florida Panhandle division. Larza joined PulteGroup in 2016 and previously held procurement roles in Austin, Texas, and Jacksonville, Florida, most recently serving as vice president of procurement for the Northeast Florida division.
The Panhandle push follows PulteGroup’s previously announced agreement with The St. Joe Company that covers up to 2,653 homesites across two Bay County communities. The contract initially includes 1,326 homesites, with options that could raise the total, the company said.
PulteGroup expects development of the first phase to begin in 2027, with initial communities featuring homes from PulteGroup brands Pulte Homes, Del Webb, and DiVosta. The builder said additional Panhandle communities will be announced as plans are finalized.
