Chubb Westchester names Dave Lupica executive chairman and Dave Roberts VP

The leadership changes take effect immediately, with Lupica shifting to governance and strategy advisory while Roberts oversees Westchester’s tailored wholesale specialty products.

Chubb has announced leadership appointments within Westchester, its wholesale excess and surplus (E&S) business in North America. Dave Lupica, vice president of the Chubb Group and division president, Westchester, was named executive chairman, effective immediately.

Chubb also appointed Dave Roberts, currently Westchester chief operating officer, as vice president of the Chubb Group and division president, Westchester, succeeding Lupica. Lupica will provide governance oversight and advise on strategy for Chubb’s wholesale E&S business in North America, while Roberts will assume executive operating responsibility and oversee delivery of Westchester’s tailored specialty products for wholesale brokers.

Roberts will report to Scott Meyer, senior vice president of the Chubb Group and chief operating officer, North America Insurance. Lupica’s background at Chubb includes leading Westchester’s digital transformation and growing Healthy Paws, while Roberts has served as COO of Westchester since 2025.

Separately, Marsh has named Jessica Fields in New York to lead Marsh Risk’s U.S. Semiconductor and AI Compute Practice in a newly created role. Insurance Journal reports Fields will coordinate Marsh specialists across advisory, emerging risk, reinsurance, and capital to help organizations identify, quantify, and manage exposures and optimize for growth.
