Hut 8 shares slip after mild Q2 revenue miss as AI pipeline grows
CEO Asher Genoot said Hut 8 expects most future bitcoin exposure to come through its American Bitcoin subsidiary.
Hut 8 shares fell after the company reported a mild second-quarter revenue miss, even as it highlighted growth in an AI data center pipeline, according to The Block.
In remarks shared with The Block, Hut 8 CEO Asher Genoot said the company’s future bitcoin exposure will primarily come through its American Bitcoin subsidiary.
The Block reported that the comments tie Hut 8’s near-term operations and expansion plans to how it expects to maintain bitcoin-linked exposure over time.
