St. John Properties sells 13.52-acre parcel to The Home Depot
The Home Depot plans to open its first location in southern Maryland at Lexington Exchange, joining ALDI, Royal Farms, Chipotle, and RC Theatres.
St. John Properties, Inc. announced it has completed the sale of a 13.52-acre parcel to The Home Depot, a deal ConnectCRE described as a milestone for Lexington Exchange, the company’s 140-acre mixed-use business community in Maryland.
ConnectCRE said The Home Depot has committed to the Lexington Exchange site with plans to open its first southern Maryland location. The retailer is set to join tenants already included in the project, including grocery chain ALDI, convenience retailer Royal Farms, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and RC Theatres.
The project currently includes five buildings totaling about 120,000 square feet of flex and R&D space, plus 65,000 square feet of retail. Lexington Exchange is configured to support roughly 600,000 square feet of overall commercial space.
ConnectCRE also reported that St. John Properties and development partner Chaney Enterprises are marketing additional pad sites at Lexington Exchange for uses that include restaurants, financial institutions, and urgent care.
