Ukraine accused Russia of committing a war crime after police released video showing a drone chasing down and wounding a vegetable seller in Kherson, a southern Ukrainian city, according to Reuters.

The footage depicts the drone pursuing a man around a van used as a street stand before exploding as he dives for cover behind the vehicle. Reuters said the man, identified by Ukrainian officials as a 52-year-old called Yurii, survived but suffered shock and shrapnel injuries.

Ukrainian officials said the incident happened on Tuesday, though Reuters reported the date could not be independently confirmed. Reuters also said it verified the location using matching satellite and archive imagery, including buildings, road layout, and vegetation.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said the latest video reflected continued drone attacks on civilians in Kherson, and urged more pressure on Moscow and strong security guarantees for Ukraine, Reuters reported.
