Apollo Micro Systems shares rise after new ₹213 crore defence order
The company said the latest order is worth ₹213 crore and came from DRDO, defence public sector units, and private industries.
Apollo Micro Systems shares climbed 0.8% to ₹401.45 in Wednesday trading after the company disclosed it received a new defence order.
According to an exchange filing dated 5 August, Apollo Micro Systems said it was awarded orders worth ₹213 crore, sourced from DRDO, defence PSUs, and private industries, without providing further details on the contracts.
The filing also said the company has handed over its indigenously developed Safety and Detonation Device, or SDD, to the Indian Navy, with a handover ceremony attended by Rear Admiral Rupak Barua and other senior naval officials.
The SDD was described as a key component of modern ammunition, designed to keep ordnance secure through storage, handling, transportation, and launch, while activating only after predefined engagement conditions are met.
