Insurance Business names top US business development managers for 2026
The inaugural ranking is based on broker nominations, with 200-plus submissions and 18 business development managers receiving high ratings across five criteria.
Insurance Business has published its inaugural Top BDMs for Outstanding Service 2026 report, recognizing business development managers in the US insurance market based on broker feedback.
The publication says BDMs play a role in supporting broker relationships, particularly in commercial insurance placements, where they help act as a link between brokers and insurers.
According to Insurance Business, the nationwide research process used a survey and interview approach, with brokers invited to nominate candidates based on five evaluation criteria.
In total, more than 200 nominations were submitted during the research period, and 18 business development managers received high ratings across all five categories to be included in the 2026 list.
