Mutual of Omaha pilots AI automation with Vamrah for group insurance
The pilot targets reducing repetitive manual work in group insurance workflows, with integrations now available on ADP, Employee Navigator, bSwift, and PlanSource.
Mutual of Omaha’s Workplace Solutions business is partnering with AI automation company Vamrah to pilot artificial intelligence tools aimed at automating business processes across its group insurance operations, according to Coverager.
The companies have entered into a pilot agreement and are finalizing production licensing. The initiative is designed to streamline group insurance workflows and cut repetitive manual work, using AI-powered automation that emphasizes document processing and unstructured data.
Coverager reports that Vamrah’s software is built for enterprise workflow automation, and the pilot reflects a broader trend among insurers testing AI to improve internal operations and reduce administrative costs rather than focusing on customer-facing experiences.
Vamrah said live integrations are now available on ADP, Employee Navigator, bSwift, and PlanSource, covering plan setup and evidence of insurability workflows.
