Rokstone hires James Hebert to lead new US Errors & Omissions unit
The new division launches with A-rated capacity from Builders Insurance, initially backed by a USD 5 million professional liability line.
Rokstone, an international specialty re/insurance managing general agent (MGA), has appointed James Hebert as Head of US Financial Lines to lead the launch of its new US Errors & Omissions (E&O) division.
Hebert, who will be based in New York, previously served at AIG as Head of Professional Liability & Cyber for North America. The company said he will oversee the build out of the division, drawing on underwriting experience, broker relationships, and prior work in financial lines portfolios.
Rokstone noted that A-rated capacity has been provided by Builders Insurance since the firm’s launch, including an initial USD 5 million line for professional liability. The MGA also plans to deploy Aventum’s ATOMX platform to support end-to-end quote, bind, and issuance, targeting streamlined digital trading for SME and mid-market risks and open-market placement for larger, more complex accounts.
In connection with the appointment, Rokstone said the combination of experienced underwriting leadership, high-quality paper, and advanced technology is intended to position the firm as a financial lines market leader starting with professional liability.
