Strategy to fund Trump Accounts for employees’ children with $250 yearly
The Tysons Corner, Virginia-based firm will also add a $1,000 one-time contribution for children born on or after Jan. 1, 2025, matching the federal seed deposit.
Bitcoin Magazine reports Bitcoin treasury firm Strategy will contribute $250 per year into Trump Accounts for every eligible child under 18 of its U.S. employees, adding corporate funding alongside the federal savings program.
The company will also make a one-time $1,000 contribution for children born on or after January 1, 2025, to match the $1,000 seed deposit provided by the U.S. Treasury under the program.
Strategy, which is listed on Nasdaq as MSTR, said it has joined the Invest America Business Pledge and is aligning with the program’s goal of encouraging early saving and long-term financial thinking.
Trump Accounts were created under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act signed in 2025 and launched July 4, 2026, with one-time $1,000 seed contributions deposited by the government into accounts for more than 500,000 children. The accounts are tax-advantaged, locked until age 18, and families can contribute up to $5,000 a year.
