TCU, ACC and The Beck Group top out a 2,500-bed campus housing project

The $500 million master plan for Fort Worth includes a community expected to open for the Fall 2027 semester, with institutional ownership remaining with TCU.

Texas Christian University, American Campus Communities, and The Beck Group marked a topping out milestone on an on-campus residential development designed to add more than 2,500 beds to the Fort Worth school.

The project will include modern first-year residence halls and townhome-style housing for sophomores, with the community planned to open for the Fall 2027 semester.

Construction is described as staying on schedule, and the development is being delivered through a third party, fee based structure with TCU maintaining institutional ownership.

ConnectCRE also said the project is part of a broader master plan for the university with a $500 million budget, and it is designed in partnership with Robert A.M. Stern Architects.
