Circuit and DaLand bring hybrid custody to credit unions for bitcoin services
DaLand says its production footprint now covers credit unions with more than $10 billion in combined assets, with three institutions already live on its platform.
Bitcoin Magazine reports that Circuit and DaLand CUSO have moved their credit union program into implementation, giving participating credit unions a production-ready path to offer bitcoin and other digital asset services.
The initiative grants access to DaLand’s CODE Engine and Coin2Core technology, which integrates digital asset capabilities directly into core banking systems from Corelation KeyStone, Fiserv DNA, and Jack Henry Symitar.
Under DaLand’s “Hybrid Custody” model, credit unions retain custody, member relationships, and data rather than routing customers to third-party crypto platforms.
Bitcoin Magazine also reports that three credit unions are already live on the platform, including St. Cloud Financial Credit Union, which issued its own stablecoin, $CLDUSD, and that the combined production footprint now covers credit unions representing more than $10 billion in assets, as federal digital-asset legislation including the GENIUS Act drives institutions to formalize crypto strategies.
