Fox will not renegotiate NFL media rights until after 2030 opt-out
Fox said it will wait until the league's opt-out clause expires in 2030 rather than start renegotiations earlier.
Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch said the company will not renegotiate its current TV media rights deal with the NFL before the league's opt-out clause expires in 2030, according to CNBC Markets.
The decision means Fox plans to continue under the existing arrangement through the period leading up to the 2030 expiration rather than reopening negotiations sooner.
