Marsh creates captive client service leader role, adds pet growth exec

Marsh named Aileen Krehbiel to lead captive strategy deployment globally, and Odie Pet Insurance hired a veteran pet executive as chief growth officer.

Marsh is creating a new global role to support captive insurance strategy, naming Aileen Krehbiel as global strategic client service leader for captive solutions within Marsh Risk, according to Insurance Business.

In the position, Krehbiel will lead Marsh's captive strategic deployment across the firm's largest and most complex captive clients worldwide, working with Marsh brokers and advisors. Krehbiel joins from John Deere, where she served as manager for captive insurance programs, with added responsibility for employee benefits technical accounting, and previously worked in assurance services at Ernst & Young.

Insurance Business also reports that Marsh’s US and Canada captive solutions leader, Michael Serricchio, said the appointment signals more demand from major clients for captive strategy help amid a volatile risk landscape.

Elsewhere in the same coverage, Ames & Gough promoted two long-serving equity partners to senior vice president, and Odie Pet Insurance brought in a veteran pet insurance executive as chief growth officer.
